Highlights of a warm and inspiring evening with artist Małgorzata Dmitruk and director Waldemar Janda.
At the Mochnarte Foundation, a screening of the documentary film “SYZYF Z MIŃSKA” by director Waldemar Janda took place, dedicated to the long-standing creative friendship between Małgorzata Dmitruk and Belarusian master graphic artist Dmitry Molotkov — an outstanding artist and educator who led the graphic arts workshop at the Minsk Art Combine for nearly 60 years.
After the screening, guests had the opportunity to speak with the director and the artist, asking questions about the film and the creative process. In addition, an exhibition of lithographs “Kombinat” (2003) was presented. Dmitruk’s works are not mere illustrations but “stories in image,” immersed in cultural, historical, and social contexts. Symbolism arises organically from the form itself, and each line and color carries meaning, inviting viewers to a personal dialogue with the work.
The warm evening brought together people, stories, and cultures.

ur. 1974, Bielsk Podlaski
Polska artystka wizualna o bialoruskich korzeniach – graficzka, malarka i autorka tkanin unikatowych. Absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie (dyplom z wyróżnieniem, 1999). Od 2002 roku związana z macierzystą uczelnią, obecnie prowadzi Pracownię Graficznych Form Przestrzennych na Wydziale Rzeźby ASP w Warszawie.
Laureatka m.in. Grand Prix Grafika Warszawska (2000, 2001) oraz Nagrody im. Daniela Chodowieckiego (2006). W swojej twórczości podejmuje temat pamięci, tożsamości oraz kultury pogranicza – budując świat narracji, symboli i intensywnego koloru.
