TIME – WINTER
Terra Neidorf
Terra Neidorf is a Ukrainian artist. In September, she participated in the Mochnarte residency, where she created the land art installation titled “TIME – WINTER”
What is it? Who is this? A ghost from the pre-war past, or something completely new? Both familiar and unknown at the same time. Something named Terraman (Terravyk in Ukrainian).
Terravyk arose from the image of the Snowman, which in turn is naturally associated with childhood, New Year’s holidays, fun, and happiness. However, the positive image of the Snowman for Ukrainians changed, mutated due to the war. On February 24, 2022, time for Ukrainians first stopped, and then moved away to another time-space. Time passes, but that winter is not over yet.

Terra Neidorf multidisciplinary artist works with environmental and land art, performance, photography, video, installation.
She explores the fragility of life, impermanence versus conditional eternity, and the eternal that has no meaning. Such reflections of the artist are related to the themes of Life and Death, as well asth theme of Nature.
Terra seeks to give the environmental art an opportunity to competewith the still dominantclassical art forms.
